To create excitement around Kotobukiya’s range of Plastic Model Kit.
Showcasing the versatility, design, creativity and workmanship of the Kotobukiya and its users.

Selected Entries will be invited to display at AFA Singapore 2024.

Eligibility for participating users,

  • Anyone can participate. (Gender, nationality, and age do not matter.)
  • Person age 15 and below or Minors must have parental consent at the time of application. 
  • Minor can apply after checking the precautions and participation materials with your parents, and we will confirm your consent with the guardian’s contact information listed at the time of reception.
  • Only works produced by the participants themselves will be accepted.
  • Works that have been exhibited or won awards are welcomed to participate in the showcase. 
  • Only one entry per person can be entered.

Entry Criteria

ARCANADEA, Frame Arms, Frame Arms Girl, Hexa Gear, Megami Device, Modeling Support Goods, Sosai Shoujo Teien, MEGALOMARIA UNLIMITED UNIVERSE

Note: Even if it is included in the above eight series, copyrighted works of other companies cannot be used.
E.g.: Alice Gear Aegis, Busou Shinki, etc.

Standard of Entries

  • All entries must be wholly constructed and finished by the participant himself/herself. 
  • Plastic model kits must be assembled and minimally have to be coloured (Including Smearing).
  • It should be no bigger than 30 x 30cm for entries with a base.
  • Please refrain from using parts from kits manufactured by other companies or users. Using such parts might result in disqualification. 
  • Offensive and provocative subjects are strictly prohibited. 
  • Works previously displayed, exhibited or entered in any competition online or on-site is ok for the showcase. 
  • Entries found using Counterfeited (Pirated) products would be disqualified without further notice

Submission Requirement

Each entry requires the participant to fill out a google form and submit photo of their works.

  • The user is required to submit 10 photos, including front, left, back, and right views, along with six other views of their choice.
  • The images should be named as USERNAME_FRONT, USERNAME_LEFT, USERNAME_REAR, USERNAME_RIGHT, and USERNAME_5 and etc.
  • The user should avoid having other works or copyrighted materials in the background and use a single-colour background sheet.
  • The user should also ensure the images are not blurred due to camera shake or insufficient light.
  • The user can put their signature, but it should be in width and height of 250 pixels or less each.
  • Failure to meet the submission criteria may result in disqualification. The judging will be conducted only by photographs in the preliminary round.
  • Submitting an entry is free of charge.

Timeline, 

Submission will start from October 11th, 2024, with closing on the Nov 10th, 2024. 
The selected entries will be contacted by November 16th 2024, and invited to exhibit their submission at Anime Festival Asia Singapore 2024 from the 29th, 30th November, and 1st December 2024.

Setup for Exhibition is on the 27th and 28th of November 2024. 

Selected Entries will be given exhibition passes for all 3 Days of AFA SG 2024 and for the setup and teardown period.
